Curbside Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? Call us or take a look at our FAQs below

I have books and movies that I checked out before the Library closed. When should I return them?

We ask that patrons return these items by August 1, 2020 and do so only via our book drop.

I returned an item but it still appears to be checked out to me. Why?

Returned items are being quarantined for 96 hours before being checked in and recirculated. Because of this, it may take up to five days for a returned item to appear as returned in our system. Don’t worry, though – no late fines will be assessed during this time.

Do I need a face covering to use the curbside service?

Yes! Face coverings are required on City property.

Is the Library open to the public?

The Library remains closed to the public at this time to protect our community members from COVID-19. The Santa Fe Springs City Library’s virtual services are available 24/7 for access to ebooks, audiobooks, digital magazines, virtual programming and more.

Can I donate books to the Library?

Thank you for thinking of the Santa Fe Springs City Library. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept donations at this time. Please do not leave donations in the book drop or on the curbside service table.
