Lego Programs

The Santa Fe Springs City Library is proud to offer a variety of LEGO Robotics programs for our surrounding community. These programs provide a hands-on educational tool to build robots and learn how to code. Spark your child's interest in STEM (science, Technology, Engineering and Math) by registering them for one of our upcoming programs!

LEGO Wedo Robotics for Kids

The Library is hosting FREE Robotics Workshops! Children ages 7 – 10 are invited to participate. During these workshops, students will construct and program robots with LEGO® WeDo™ robotics kits and laptops.

LEGO Robotics PLUS

Have you worked through all of the Lego Wedos robots? Ready to try something new? We now have expansion packs for the WeDos that are a little more challenging. Test yourself and create something exciting!  This program is for children ages 9 and up.

LEGO Mindstorms Robotics

Head to the Library to work in small groups to build and program a robot to do tasks such as move, avoid obstacles, follow a line, or shoot a basketball.

Admission is free. Space is limited – registration is required. This program is for children 11 and up.
