The City of Santa Fe Springs Safe Neighborhood Team (SNT) Program relies on the efforts of community volunteers. It is a program for emergency preparedness and neighborhood watch that is coordinated by the combined efforts of block Captains, Area Coordinators, and members. The goal of the program is to prepare residents to be self-contained for 72 hours during an emergency and to assist with crime prevention awareness in the community.
The SNT has been recognized by the State of California, Office of Emergency Services (OES), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for its excellence in emergency management. At SNT meetings you can meet members of the Santa Fe Springs Policing team, receive crime trend information, become involved in activities, and share your concerns.
Classes are held the second Tuesday every other month. Scheduled months are January, March, May, July, September, and November. Meetings are held at 6:30 PM in Room 1 of Town Center Hall.
