Holiday Food Basket
As we gear up for the holiday season, take part in the City’s Thankful Neighbor and Neighborly Elf Holiday Food Basket Programs. Please consider donating your time, non-perishable food items, canned goods, new toys, or making a monetary contribution.
The program allows sponsorship of pre-selected families, identified by the Department of Community Services Family and Human Services Division staff.
Neighborly Elf Basket Program
Are you a Santa Fe Springs resident in need of a food basket this Christmas? Low-income families can pre-register to receive a food basket for the holiday! Registration will be completed via phone appointments or email. Please call the Gus Velasco Neighborhood Center at (562) 692-0261 to speak with a Case Manager to see if you qualify. Registration deadline: December 9, 2022

- Boxed Stuffing
- Canned Gravy
- Boxed Mashed Potatoes
- Frozen Turkeys
- Frozen Chickens
- Canned Food
