Juanita Martin, Mayor

Juanita Martin is serving her fourth term on the City Council since first being elected in November of 2009. This will be Mayor Martin's third term serving as Mayor. She was previously appointed to Mayor in 2014 and 2019. Juanita is a lifelong resident of the City of Santa Fe Springs. She attended local elementary and middle schools, and graduated from St. Paul High School in 1992.

Prior to her election to the City Council, Juanita was actively involved in the community where she served on the Parks and Recreation Committee, Safe Neighborhood Team, Community Planning Committee, Sister City, Community Playhouse, and the City’s Christmas Float Program. Since 2008, Juanita has been a member of Santa Fe High School’s Sports Club. Juanita is married to her husband Justin has two daughters, Alyssa and Aliah.
