Are the Wading Pools free?
There are no fees to access the wading pool(s).
Can I rent a soccer field?
Yes, only with an approved permit through the City’s Parks and Recreation Division. You can contact the Adult Sports Coordinator at (562) 944-5895 for additional information.
Do I have to reserve a spot for a picnic?
Most picnic venues do not require a reservation nor a fee. However, each of the city parks hosts a formal pavilion. You must reserve these formal sites, at a fee, to guarantee availability.
How early do you open the gates at Lakeview Park and Santa Fe Springs Park?
Santa Fe Springs Park
Gates open daily at 8am.
Lakeview Park
During the school year the gates open weekdays at 3:00pm. and weekends at 8:00am. Gates open at 8:00am, 7 days a week, during the Summer.
I work in SFS. Can I register my child for a class?
The courtesy of a resident rate is only extended to you as an industrial resident. All family members would be charged the non-resident rate.
Is the Activity Center free?
The Activity Center is available for all residents and business residents free of charge.
My child attends a school in the Little Lake City School District. His/her school is not in the City of Santa Fe Springs. Can we still get the resident rate?
Unfortunately, the school and or/your residence must have a City of Santa Fe Springs address to qualify for the resident rate.

What do I have to do to workout at the Activity Center?
You must show proof of residency and pre-register with the facility staff.
What time is Recreation Swim open to the public?
Summer Recreation Swim is available to the public daily from 1:00 – 4:00pm. Recreation Swim is also available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30pm.
The Aquatic Center closes the fourth Friday in October. Please call the Parks and Recreation Division office at (562) 863-4896 for additional program information.
What times are the skate boarding equipment available to the public?
Skate Boarding Equipment is available weekdays from 5:30 – 8:30pm.
Why do I have to wear a helmet at Center Court?
City policy requires all participants to wear protective equipment.
