LEGO Robotics for Kids

The library is hosting free Robotics Workshops! Children ages 7 – 10 are invited to participate. During these workshops, students will construct and program robots with LEGO® WeDo™ robotics kits and laptops. Admission is free. Space is limited – registration is required. Join us for a feast for the eyes and the taste buds at our International Food and Film night. We'll pair up great films with yummy foods to make for a festive evening! Space is limited; registration is required. This is a night out for adults only - please leave the children at home. This event is FREE!

An amazing fusion of old and new cultures, Japanese Festival Sounds perform on taiko drums and other ancient and contemporary instruments that vary in size from small handheld implements to drums several feet in diameter. This presentation is a treat for all the senses as this dynamic ensemble thunders through their stunning performance.
