Petro Builders Inc. obtained approval of Development Plan Approval Case No. 814 to allow the construction a new 21,239 sq ft concrete tilt-up industrial warehouse building and 4,656 sq ft maintenance building on property at 10145 Geary Avenue. The proposed building will have a contemporary industrial design with extensive glazing within the main entry and office areas.
Golden Springs Development - Building I
Golden Springs Development Company LLC obtained approval of Development Plan Approval Case No. 815 to allow the construction of a 200,000 concrete tilt-up industrial building on the west side of Carmenita Road across from Foster Road. Building I is the twenty third and last building in the 256-acre, three phase industrial park development.
Rosecrans Towne Center Remodel
Ferrero Investment Partners recently obtained approval of Development Plan Approval Case No. 821 to allow the proposed remodel of an existing multi-tenant industrial center at 13055-13081 Rosecrans Avenue. The property is currently developed with two concrete tilt-up buildings totaling approximately 32,528sf. Ferrero Investment Partners is planning to remodel the property to match a new development west of the property (in the City of Norwalk). The subject property will be given a new facade, landscaping, a meandering sidewalk, and a comprehensive sign program.
Kiewit Office Building
Kiewit Construction Company recently obtained approval of Development Plan Approval Case No 822 to allow the construction of a new approximately 23,500 sq.ft. (G.F.A), two-story concrete tilt-up office building on the 2.27 acre property at 10704 Shoemaker Avenue. The new building will replace the existing 12,514 sq ft, 2-story office building which will be demolished.
R.R Leonard Office Building
R.R. Leonard Company recently obtained approval of Development Plan Approval Case No 834 to allow construction of a 7,519 sq ft (GFA), two-story office building on the 1.14-acre property at 10910 Shoemaker Avenue. The building will have a contemporary design through the use of painted smooth finish concrete tilt-up walls, stacked masonry, aluminum grilles and bronze reflective glass in dark bronze aluminum storefront frame. A meandering sidewalk will be within the landscaped area along the Shoemaker Avenue street frontage.
Baker Petrolite Office Building
Baker Petrolite Corporationrecently obtained approval of Development Plan Approval Case No 835 to allow the construction of a new 7,125 sq. ft. industrial office and warehouse building on a 2.33 acre site located at 11808 Bloomfield Avenue. The new building will replace four existing metal buildings totaling 9,351 sq ft and a 2,928 sq ft single-story stucco building, which will be demolished. The building will have a contemporary industrial design with extensive gazing within the main entry and office areas. The use of concrete block, stucco, decorative reveal lines, and pop-outs, will provide additional architectural detail and visual interest to the building.
Continental Heat Treating Reclad & Warehouse Addition
Continental Heat Treating Inc. recently received approval of Development Plan Approval Case No 837 to allow reclading of the existing 20,200 sq ft metal building (apply a stucco finish) and for a 4,932.7 sq ft addition proposed at the rear of the existing 20,200 sq ft building on the 1.60 acre property at 10643 Norwalk Boulevard. The buildings will be done with a contemporary design through the use of painted, smooth-finish to resemble the appearance of a concrete tilt-up wall panels with score reveal lines, a new cornice trim and a “blue” recessed clear-story reflective glass in clear anodic finished, center-glazed aluminum storefront.
