Where Fun Begins...

Looking for something to do after school? Come enjoy numerous great activities in a safe environment at the Teen Lounge located in Town Center Hall. Sixth through twelfth grade students that reside in or attend school in Santa Fe Springs are welcome. Teen programming is designed to be educational and recreational, and include: tutorial services, art contests, video games, Friday night trips, pool tournaments, dances and many special events aimed at making teens feel important to the community.

Teen Lounge Summer Hours:

Middle School Students
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday: 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday: 2:15 - 6:00 p.m.

High School Students
Monday & Wednesday: 3:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday: 2:15 - 9:00 p.m.
Friday: 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Outdoor Hiking Adventures for Teens

Calling all teens to lace up their hiking shoes for some summer fun and exercise! Come enjoy nature in its fullest when the Teen Program adventures on three local hiking excursions. Don't miss out on these amazing opportunities.

Open to High School Students Only.

SAFE & HEALTHY BARBEQUING
FOR TEENS -

Site/Location: Town Center Hall 6 weeks
High school students will be taught the fundamentals of barbequing on the grill as well as preparing delicious healthy recipes that will tantalize the taste buds! Class meets once a week and is a great way to learn barbeque safety, food preparation for small groups, and a greater awareness of healthy eating habits.
Fee: $20 Resident Discount Fee: $25

Paddle Tennis For Teens at the Beach -
Site/Location: Long Beach, Venice Beach
4 sessions
Paddle tennis is the game of tennis on a miniature tennis court. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned player, paddle tennis is a great way to have fun, get fit, and take in some sun! Teens will meet in Santa Fe Springs and be transported to the outdoor courts located on the Venice Beach Boardwalk and at the Bayshore Playground in Belmont Shore.
NO Fee: (Paddle rental fee may apply)

15-18 7/2, 7/16, 7/30, 8/13 F 1:00-6:00 p.m.

The following clothing items are not allowed: mid-riffs, hats, jackets, beanies, back packs, baggy pants, tank tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps, or gang attire. If any of these items are worn or brought to the dance, the teen will not be allowed to enter.
