2010 Spring Basketball League

Registration:	Monday, February 1 - Tuesday, February 16 at Town Center Hall
League Begins:	Tuesday, March 2, 2010
Fees:	$505 A $25 late fee will be applied to late applications. Late applications are accepted on an as-needed basis.
Mandatory:	** A minimum of $250 must be paid upon registration.**
Awards:	Team (sponsor) and individual 1st and 2nd place awards are given out.
Manager's Meeting:	Will take place the week of February 22 Held at the Activity Center, 11155 Charlesworth Road, Santa Fe Springs

SANTA FE SPRINGS POINT SYSTEM

Applications are accepted on a team basis only. Applications must be fully completed. Teams will be accepted according to the Santa Fe Springs Point System. Applications will be checked for accuracy.
SANTA FE SPRINGS Resident	1.5 pts. each
SANTA FE SPRINGS Business Resident	1 pt. each
*SANTA FE SPRINGS Business Sponsor	5 pts.
**SANTA FE SPRINGS Returning Team	5 pts.
***SANTA FE SPRINGS Resident Team	5 pts.

*	Must be verified by a company check and letter.
**	Team which has participated within 1 year of date of application in Santa Fe Springs. (Must have 60% of roster intact.)
***	Teams with 5 or more residents automatically qualify for resident fee.

POINTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED FOR INCOMPLETE INFORMATION (ADDRESSES, ETC.)

SOFTBALL LEAGUE INFORMATION

1.	The League fee includes: balls, scorekeepers, umpires, SCMAF accident protection program, 1 hour reservation at the Santa Fe Springs Diamond (Batting Cages) and awards to the 1st and 2nd place finishers (with the best overall record after scheduled games or possible playoff).
2.	Roster Information a. Rosters will be limited to 15 players (co-ed 16) maximum and 10 players minimum. b. Coaches’/managers’ names must be on the roster in order to be eligible to play. c. Each player must personally sign the roster. d. Rosters must be turned in COMPLETE upon payment of registration fees. e. Teams may add or drop players by the third league game. Changes must be submitted on an "Add or Drop Players" form. Any other changes are at the discretion of the league director. f. Game time/place will be designated by the Recreation Services Division.
3.	Application/roster form must be mailed or turned in to the City of Santa Fe Springs Town Center Hall, 11740 East Telegraph Road, Santa Fe Springs, 90670, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Fee is due upon registration. NO PERSONAL CHECKS!
