SWIM LESSONS LEISURE ACTIVITIES Lap Swimming & Spas The pool and spas are open during lap swim for patrons, to swim laps or relax in the heated spas. Lap swim is open to adults only, 18 and over. however, local high school swim team members may, at times, be allowed to workout during lap swim. The spas are generally available for adults only, however, children may be permitted when directly supervised by a Swim Team Coach or an Instructor Guard. Spas are heated to approximately 102o Fahrenheit. Monday - Friday: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Fee is $2.50. RECREATION SWIM During Recreaon Swim hours, we provide a place for a large number of people to relax and enjoy the water. Lounge chairs are also available for sunning or realxing. All children under 7 years of age and under 48" tall must be accompanied by an adult, one adult per child. Fee: Children (under 18) - $1 Adults - $2 Daily Now - September 7 M - Sun 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Family Night Now - September 4 M/W/F 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Weekend September 12 & 13 Sat/Sun 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. SWIM TEAM The Santa Fe Springs Aquatics Club provides training and participation in swim meets for youth ages 5 - 18. Tryouts are required and can be arranged by contacting the team coach at the Aquatic Center. Tryout testing consists of a 50 yard (2 lengths) crawl stroke and 50 yard backstroke swim. Admission is based upon stroke analysis. Parental involvement is highly encouraged. Fee: $105, Resident Discount Fee: $65 Summer Hours: Now - 8/28 M-F 6:30 - 8:30 a.m. Fall Hours 8/31 - 10/23 M-F 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. WATER EXERCISE Patrons can experience a variety of water workouts in a safe and effective exercise program. These classes are enjoyable as well as convenient. All classes are held on a drop-in basis. The fee is $2.50 per class/per participant. Passes are good for all lap and recreational swimming as well as water exercise programs. Passes are good for one year from the date purchased. All passes are purchased at Town Center Hall.
