ALL APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Must be a resident of Santa Fe Springs

a. Must actually reside in the City.
b. Acceptable verification.

2. High School Senior

3. Potential for success in college

4. Good moral character, citizenship, ethics.

a. Reference letter from a counselor, teacher, businessperson, or professional.
b. Applications will be screened by a Guidance Counselor for any disciplinary issues.

Armando Mora Scholastic Award

Ø Cumulative GPA of 3.0 for the four years of high school.

Ø Outstanding service to school (i.e., ASB, Clubs; AVID, Earth, Key) and community (i.e., volunteer work).

Ø Santa Fe, Pioneer or St. Paul High School student.

Lorenzo Sandoval Memorial Athletic Award

Ø Maintain 3.0 average during four years in high school.

Ø Participate in at least one athletic program each year during three years in high school.

Ø Demonstrated strong leadership qualities during participation on sports programs.

Ø Santa Fe High School Student.

Albert L. Sharp Memorial Scholarship Award

Ø Overall GPA of 3.0

Ø Must have participated in athletics for a minimum of two years and earned a a letter for a varsity team sport.

Ø Enrolled in the Business Academy or taken business courses in high school.
