The Social Services Section provides a range of social services, including client assessment and advocacy, information and referrals, an on-site emergency food pantry, and assistance in the immigration and naturalization process. Other services include the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program which prepares taxes free of charge to low income families, Youth In Industry Summer Youth Employment Program, notary services, recreational and educational classes, after-school programs for children, and holiday food basket distributions.   The City of Santa Fe Springs and Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital offer on site medical services and health and wellness services to the commuity. These services include a variety of health risk screenings, well child visits, childhood immunizations, flu shots, and health education services.
