William K. Rounds, Mayor Pro-Tem
William (Bill) K. Rounds is serving his third term as a City Councilmember since first being elected in November 2007.
Bill was born in Concord, Massachusetts, moving to Santa Fe Springs with his parents in 1951. He attended local schools, graduating from Santa Fe High in 1968.
Prior to his election to the City Council, Bill served as a Santa Fe Springs Planning Commissioner for nine years. He has been an active member of the Parks and Recreation, Santa Float, Rose Parade Float, Safe Neighborhood Team and 50th Anniversary Celebration Committees as well as a former Coach and Boardmember for the Metropolitan Little League.
Bill retired in 2014 after working 41 years as a supervisor with the LACSD in the field engineering department.
Bill and his wife, Jennifer, have four adult children and six grandchildren.
